Accurate Self-Measurement Guide
In the first step, we will need a home measuring tape (it is important that it has centimeter measurements) and take measurements
of the body while naked in the areas relevant to the garment:

Neck

Measure the neck circumference, it is important to measure from the widest area and also allow a safety margin of about 2 cm in case the garment is too tight around the neck and then you won’t be able to wear it. A slightly larger width is not a problem and you will be able to wear it without any issue. Neck measurements are important when purchasing clothes with a collar (more popular in elegant men’s clothing) or clothing with neck tightening (more popular among women).

Bust
A very popular and important measurement among women is the bust measurement; the bust circumference can vary

completely from woman to woman, so an accurate measurement here may be important when purchasing clothing, especially underwear.

Measure the widest part of the bust, it is recommended to measure the circumference while wearing an existing bra and also consider that there may be extra padding inside the bra.

Waist

Measure the waist circumference by wrapping the tape around the body. It is better to allow a small extra margin of about half a cm to 1 cm, both as a general safety margin regarding the garment you order and for weight changes. (Subject to your discretion)

Hips

Measure the fullest part while keeping the hips together.

Leg length

It is also important to check the pants length before purchase. Measure the inner part of the leg—from the groin area down to the foot. It is also important to measure the waist circumference at the same time, especially when buying jeans, so they fit you perfectly.

Shoulder length

Measure “shoulder to shoulder,” from one shoulder edge to the other across the back.

Arm length

Measure from the shoulder edge down to the wrist. This is important for sleeve length so they are neither too long nor too short.
